Hotel Lindrum once again sets the backdrop for the Australian Tea Masters Certified Tea Blending course in May 2014. Sign up for this intensive course, held in the Melbourne we know and love, while places are still available.

The Certified Tea Blending course will focus on the secrets and mysteries of tea blending, along with professional techniques for developing both traditional blends and signature formulas.

The three-day workshop is followed by two months of home study involving various blending formulations and periodic online sessions for support.

Registrants completing the training will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

Students will be trained in blending various types and grades of tea with other teas and ingredients like herbs, dried fruits, flowers and spices, including Ayurvedic and botanical formulations.

They will learn to create professional blends, based on traditional formulas and current market demand, achieving results based on the technical criteria acquired during the workshop. They will also learn to determine the freshness of the ingredients they are using in the mixing and blending phase to assure a natural and satisfying taste.

This course is ideally suited for restaurant and tea business owners and managers, wine sommeliers, chefs, caterers, industry suppliers, and others who wish to incorporate tea blending into their daily lives or current profession.
